Meet Bess (she/her)!

As a former reading specialist, Bess worked as an educator for 7 years before taking time off to go through fertility treatments. During that time, she discovered her passion for book editing, writing, and illustrating.

After her daughter was born (thanks to the science of IVF!), Bess struggled to decide what to do next. It was one serendipitous day that she came across an empty shop, and after some contemplating and planning, Moon Lily was on it’s way to becoming real!

Named after her dog, Luna, and beloved daughter, Lily, Moon Lily has quickly become a community staple that parents are thrilled to share their experiences about. But no other review stands out quite as much as from one of our clients, 4 year old Dylan, who said, “This is the greatest place EVER!”

Meet Lex (she/they)! They’ve been in the industry for 4 years now. A lover of all things dance, music, and crafting, Lex is also a skilled stylist! They excell at helping their clients feel safe and comfortable, explaining the steps along the way, and creating an environment that fosters trust and patience.

Meet Olivia (she/her)! Olivia has been cutting children’s hair for over 4 years now. She loves working with kids and getting into deep conversations about Disney. Olivia works hard every shift to make sure her clients not just trust her, but enjoy their experience as well. She will go above and beyond to help your child have the best time at Moon Lily!
